Thomas Denham, the brother of Ancestor William Denham, came to America a few years before the arrival of his brother William. According to records of descendants, at Annandale, Scotland. He built many vessels probably at Bowdoinham, Maine; the following names of vessels are given as built by him: William & Dorcas---Betsey---Polly-- Jane. He died while he was engaged in building a vessel at Campabello, St. Andrews, New Brunswick. He also kept a store while he was building vessels. He was Justice of the Peace and Selectman while he was residing in Bowdoinham, Maine. His documents and private papers are with his great granddaughter, Mrs. Chas. Hodgkins, at Bath, Maine; she was the daughter of Wesley Denham. Thomas Denham is said to have died from lung fever, May 7, 1825.
Catherine, wife of Thomas Denham died April 17, 1844, aged 74 years.

John was a sailor, and most of his early life was spent upon the ocean. He
made several fishing voyages to the Grand Banks and Labrador. Later he
traveled in the West and went to California, where he lived for a few years,
returning to New Hampshire in 1859. He later made several voyages to the
Bahama Islands. They lived in Epping, New Hampshire.
